The National Capital Authority (NCA) held a Public Forum on 29 April 2010 at the theatre of the Australian War Memorial.This forum provided an opportunity for all Australians to have their say on the future of their National Capital.

Proposed Reviews of Building Heights and National Capital Open Space

Questions on notice

Due to time constraints, a number of questions raised at the NCA Public Forum on 29 April were 'taken on notice'.

Specific questions were:

• what impact will expected population growth have on planning for future development?;
• will the review result in development that will impinge on current open space corridors between centres?;
• and can the NCA define the scope of each review?

All of these questions are related to the actual work of the reviews. The NCA will ensure the advisory groups for each review address these questions when drafting the initial discussion papers.
